Announcement for Candidacy for Congress
I am officially launching my campaign for Congress of the 19th District of the State of New York.
I feel morally compelled to run for the sake of my 4 year old son’s future as well as every American I see struggling to find something as simple as meaningful work, or simply pay their taxes and bills, and I see no politicians offering real solutions to the affordability crisis, the collapse of our currency, the $39 trillion national debt, or the steady decline of America into a second world country.
New York is a shadow of its former glory. Upstate is dark and quiet. We once used our resources of endless timber, water, coal and oil to construct finished products for export worldwide, and provided enough power that New Yorkers had the cheapest electricity bills on the planet.
Now we have foreign companies log our timber and ship it to China to make finished products they sell back to us, and make such little electricity, we have to pay the Canadians costly fees to sell us energy they make with the very ways we’ve banned here, delivered to New York households by a British for profit Corporation, National Grid, or Canadian owned Central Hudson.
Our politicians sold us out, and rank and file Democrats and Republicans in Albany let it happen.
At the founding of New York and for most of our nation’s history, tariffs were the primary source of revenue for the federal government.
With tariffs back in place, it is time to repeal burdensome taxes and make New York grow again.
If elected, I’ll introduce legislation to fully repeal the federal gas tax and federal diesel tax to bring the price of goods down in stores.
Fully repeal the federal income tax for every American person and business making under $1 million a year.
A full repeal of payroll tax and use tariffs to replace it. And a full repeal of capital gains tax for every person and business making under $1 million a year.
At the same time, I will support raising the federal tax rate to over 50 percent for companies that profit more than $500 million a year.
This will be necessary to balance our budget and get our over $39 trillion deficit back under control.
The bottom 99 percent of Americans will pay no income tax at all—but the multi billion-dollar conglomerates who have gamed our system for decades by importing slave labor-made goods from China at the expense of America’s worker will finally pay their fair share.
This is how the income tax was intended to function when it was proposed in the 1900s, and this is returning to it’s founders’ intentions.
With 99% of Americans no longer paying taxes, I’ll introduce a bill abolishing the IRS to save Americans billions, and replacing it with a small department in the Treasury Department, for corporate and wealth audits and tariff revenue collection.
I will introduce a bill to Congress banning foreign companies from having any part in our power grid.
With this, we will kick NYSEG, National Grid, and Central Hudson out of New York forever.
They have lost the right to service New Yorkers through their massive exploitation and it is a national security risk to have foreign companies operating our utilities.
The bill will also require the New York Power Authority (NYPA) to retake full control of energy generation and delivery as these companies leave, and sell power directly to consumers at cost.
It will require New York to develop enough power to become self sufficient from other countries again, as currently New York has to buy energy from Canada, which produces that energy with the very means New York State has banned.
The Bill will require NYPA to become run by officials elected by New Yorkers, not appointed by Albany.
I’ll Secure federal matching funds for the reopening of Indian Point and construction of next-generation modular nuclear reactors, and new hydroelectric dams, and New York’s own refineries, modernizing the energy grid to bring prices down to 1/10th of what they are now.
Our global rival China is building and opening hundreds of new nuclear power plants, hydropower dams, and oil fields, while we freeze ourselves with suicidal energy policies that are destroying us.
With this new model, New York can bring energy rates down from 20¢/kWh to 3¢/kWh—a move that would reignite manufacturing, lower housing costs, and make Upstate New York a magnet for investment again.
I will introduce legislation updating outdated trucking and USDA regulations that makes food and goods made, raised or grown in America more expensive than our world competitors.
This includes raising trucking weight limits and drive limits, and allowing local vets and farm clinics to be privately certified to carry out the work of USDA Inspectors, so farms can raise, slaughter, package and sell meat from farm to market with no more big corporate slaughterhouses in between.
I will introduce legislation in Congress to bring the disastrous property tax gouging under control, by not capping property taxes, but REDUCING them, banning municipalities federally from charging more than 0.50% of a property’s assessed value, as it was for most of our country’s history, instead of the outrageous 2.50% that it is now.
We must restart growth of our towns, villages and cities by keeping dollars in property owners’ pockets.
I support immediately ending all foreign aid, reducing it to $0, and closing almost all of our 750+ overseas military bases.
America must rebuild here at home. Not maintain an multi-trillion dollar empire overseas.
And lastly, when elected, I’ll immediately launch Congressional hearings on Albany corruption, and call Albany leaders to DC to testify as to the outrageous salaries of Public officials in New York, while New Yorkers suffer and struggle.
Our political leaders in Albany will finally answer for their crimes.

For most of America’s history, there was no federal income tax. When it was implemented in 1913, it was promised to be temporary, meant only to fund World War I, and only applied to the wealthiest 1%.
It’s time to abolish the federal income tax for every person and business making under $1 million a year and let Americans keep what they earn…
